I have more than 32 years experience in dairy industry spanning all types of products and functions. Out of this about 10 years experience is as an independent profit centre head.
I started my carrier in sept.1979 at milk plant Jalandher, Punjab as asst. Mgr. Production.
During my stay at Jalandher I got associated with milk procurement and production activities.
Handling of milk procurement at village level was main source of cooperatives.
Products like milk, cream, butter, ghee, ice cream and sterilized milk are handled by me during my stay at milk plant Jalandher.
In the year 1985 I was elevated to Deputy Manager. Production and transferred to milk plant Hoshiarpur where I handled the powder plant in addition to the above.
During the stay at Hoshiarpur I was involved in energy conservation activity, manpower utilization and total cost control.
Later, I was given the charge of mgr. Production as well as mgr quality control.
In early 1992 I left these cooperatives and joined a private at Jammu, manufacturing powder, butter and ghee.
On 1st. Jan 1994 I joined J K Dairy and Food Ltd. Moradabad Uttar Pradesh. I stayed there for about three years. Erection and commissioning was done during my stay. At J K I was mainly associated with setting of new laboratory, quality assurance department.
New product development like casein, non dairy creamer, milk shake powders, Energy conservation was one of the activities
In mid 1996 I joined Sowjas as Manager Works and did commissioning of powder plant and related services.
In 1998, I got elevated to G M works, managing all gamuts of factory activities from milk procurement to manufacturing and dispatch.
In Nov 1999 I joined Parag Milk as G M operations did commissioning of powder plant and related units
Cheese plant its packing units were arranged, installed, commissioned and product was launched by me.
New products like cream, cheese powders, instant mixes, sweetened condensed milk, table butter, butter milk powder were launched by me.
Out sourcing of some products like rassogulla and U H T milk was arranged by me.
Expansion of Parag Milk to handle 4,00,000.0 l p d from 1,25,000.0l p d was conceived, arranged, erected and commissioned by me.
Complete sales and marketing of its produce in potential regions of India and exports was arranged and executed by me.
System implementation and execution of ISO/HACCP was done by me
I left Parag I started projects of my own.
Since then I have been providing consulting services. These Projects include

- Shende Dairy, Karad, Maharashtra
- Good Day Foods, Thane, Maharashtra
- Swaraj India Industries, Satara, Maharashtra
In additions I also buy and sell dairy products for various manufacturers.
Complete project management to set up a dairy plant to the tune of 600000 liters per day has been done by me. |
